Description
D7000 High Performance Release & Parting Film – 48" / 121.9 cm
D7000 is a next-generation release/parting film that combines the chemical inertness and universal non-stick properties of PTFE-based polymers with exceptional conformability and heat resistance. It delivers clean release across the full cure range used in advanced composites and has been successfully used in intermittent service above 600°F (316°C). The film’s very high elongation makes it ideal for complex shapes where superior drape and edge conformity are required. Recommended for demanding cures with epoxy, phenolic, BMI and comparable systems (typical 350–400°F / 177–204°C), as well as higher-temperature cycles where few films remain both conformable and thermally stable.

Processing Guidelines
- Use D7000 as the release/parting layer against the laminate; back with breather/bleeder per your process.
- Manage edges to prevent resin egress; maintain vacuum and follow the material cure schedule (do not exceed service limits).
- Its high conformability reduces pleats and bridging around tight radii and complex geometries.
