PRO-SET® Surfboard Hardeners are part of a brilliant, ultra-clear surfboard epoxy system designed for high-volume board building, fast flip times, and outstanding cosmetics in the showroom and on the waves. Formulated for use with PRO-SET Surfboard Epoxy Resin, these hardeners deliver ultra-clear laminations, excellent sandability, and durable performance with superior UV and color stability. Optical brighteners enhance whites and colors, bringing out the best in modern foam blanks.

Hardener Types & Recommended Uses

Mixing & Use
- Mix only with the matching PRO-SET Surfboard Epoxy Resin at a 2:1 resin-to-hardener ratio by volume.
- Condition materials to a stable shop temperature before mixing for consistent viscosity and cure.
- Blend thoroughly, scraping sides and bottom of the container to ensure a uniform, streak-free mix.
- Apply in thin, even coats for laminating, hot-coating, or potting; follow recommended cure schedule.
- Sand and finish as normal once fully cured to achieve a high-gloss, professional surfboard finish.
Applications
- Custom surfboard laminations and hot-coats.
- High-volume production board building.
- Epoxy laminations over foam blanks, wood, or color work where clarity and UV stability are critical.
