PRO-SET® TLG-625-H Tooling Hardener — Hardener Only

TLG-625-H is the curing agent for the PRO-SET low-density epoxy tooling putty system. Use only with PRO-SET TLG-625-R Low Density Epoxy Tooling Putty Resin (resin sold separately) to create a lightweight, easily sandable putty for surfacing molds and plugs and for filling/fairing composite structures.

What it does

• System-matched cure: Formulated specifically for TLG-625-R to deliver predictable handling and properties.
• Long working time: About 90 minutes at room temperature (varies with mass and temperature).
• Fast turnaround: Mixed putty sands easily, typically in ~8 hours at ambient conditions.
• Smooth finishing: Enables feather-edge application with minimal slump and low dust during sanding.

Typical Applications

• Surfacing and detailing of molds and plugs
• Filling and fairing of composite parts in manufacture and repair
• General gap-filling and contouring where a lightweight, sandable epoxy putty is preferred

Mixing & Use

• Combine TLG-625-H Hardener with TLG-625-R Resin at the ratio specified on the PRO-SET TDS (by volume or weight).
• Measure accurately and mix thoroughly until uniform; scrape the sides and bottom of the container.
• Apply to clean, abraded, dust-free substrates. Build up to 1/2" (12 mm) in a single application as needed.
• Allow to cure; sand and finish. Post-cure per TDS if elevated properties are desired.

Storage & Safety

• Hardener only: This listing includes TLG-625-H. Order TLG-625-R Resin separately.
• If stored for an extended period, stir hardener and resin individually before weighing and mixing.
• Wear appropriate PPE and consult the product SDS/TDS for full safety and handling guidance.
