RDR-1302 High Temperature Aluminum Filled Surface Coat from Premium Resin Tech is a specialty room-setting epoxy surface coat designed for high-performance composite tooling. Aluminum fillers provide excellent thermal conductivity and a tough, polishable surface that produces high-gloss, dimensionally stable laminate finishes on molds, mandrels, and tooling fixtures. Originally formulated for nickel mandrels, this aluminum-filled gelcoat has proven effective in a wide variety of advanced tooling applications.
RDR-1302 is a high temperature capable system recommended for high-temperature laminating up to 350°F when properly post-cured. The epoxy surface coat wets out easily and offers excellent brush-on characteristics, with enough body to cling on vertical surfaces while still flowing out for a smooth finish. Once cured and post-cured, the surface can be polished to a mirror-like gloss, providing production-quality mold surfaces that stand up to repeated cycles.

- Cures at room temperature; post cure is required to develop full mechanical and thermal properties.
