RDR-1302 High Temperature Aluminum Filled Surface Coat

RDR-1302 is a high temperature capable, room setting epoxy surface coat offering a wide range of tooling versatility due its ability to cling on vertical surfaces in brush-on applications. This surface coat was specifically formulated for nickel mandrels but has found effective use a wide variety of tooling applications. Once cured, this aluminum filled tooling surface coat can be polished to provide the highest quality laminate finishes. The RDR-1302 system is recommended for use with high temperature laminating up to 350°F. Choose a hardener based on desired pot life tailored for your process:

• RDH-9302 Room Temperature Laminating Hardener provides a quicker pot life of ~14 minutes at 72°F.
• RDH-9106 High Temperature Slow Cure Hardener provides a pot life of ~60 minutes at 72°F and boasts higher strength capabilities vs the RDH-9302 hardener.

This system cures at room temperature but requires post cure to obtain optimal mechanical and thermal properties. This product is sold by weight. 10 Lbs = aprox 1 Gallon; 50 Lbs = aprox 5 Gallons.
