Aerospace-grade Nomex® aramid honeycomb delivers outstanding stiffness-to-weight, fatigue resistance, and heat tolerance for high-performance sandwich panels. Use standard expanded sheets for flat and gently curved panels, or choose over-expanded Nomex® when you need superior drape around complex contours. The core bonds easily to carbon fiber, fiberglass, and aramid skins with epoxy, vinyl ester, or polyester systems, and is favored for applications requiring low FST (flame/smoke/toxicity).
