Chopped Strand

Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) is a non-woven fiberglass reinforcement that builds thickness quickly, controls print-through, and bonds cores and woven fabrics. Excellent for hand layup and contact molding, it wets out easily and conforms to curves. Available in common weights from ~225–610 gsm. Compatible with epoxy, polyester, and vinyl-ester resins.
