Peel Ply

Peel ply is the sacrificial fabric that protects a laminate and leaves a clean, bond-ready surface after cure. Apply over the carbon/fiberglass under the bag to control resin bleed, keep parts free of contaminants, and avoid heavy sanding dust. Choose nylon or polyester fabrics in light weights for smooth surfaces or heavier styles for extra texture. Select porous PTFE-coated versions (e.g., Release Ease® 234) for easy release with controlled bleed, non-porous PTFE films (Release Ease® 236) when a barrier is required, or BleederLease®/coated peel ply to combine peel ply and release in one layer. Offered in common widths up to 60".
