Multi-Axis

Biaxial, triaxial, and quadaxial carbon fiber fabrics are stitched, non-crimp reinforcements that optimize load paths and speed up layups. ±45° biaxials and quadaxials provide excellent shear and torsional stiffness, while adding 0/90° plies in tri/quadraxials boosts bending and in-plane strength with minimal print-through. Offered in a range of tow counts and weights (e.g., T700, Zoltek PX35, Hyosung), they wet out quickly and are ideal for vacuum bagging or resin infusion of large, structural laminates.
