Silver Metalized High Density Carbon Fiber Fabric 2x2 Twill 3k 7oz/238gsm Toray T300

This is 100% Carbon Fiber manufactured with a Toray T-300 3k tow which has a silver aluminized coating applied to one side. This means that this carbon fiber cloth has been coated with silver aluminum in a very fine mist which is thin enough to let resin permeate the material and keep the fabric conformable. The face side is silver in color, whereas the other side is standard carbon fiber black with weblock skrim.

This Fabric is a high density 3k carbon fiber based on our F-1902-50-WL fabric. With a width of 50″, tow size of 3k, woven in a 2×2 twill weave pattern, is the most commonly used pattern in the automotive industry. The material is a high density weave, which means it is woven tighter than most of our competitors’ fabrics, which along with the weblock stabilization, helps to ensure a straight weave and a better looking final product.
