This premium hybrid fabric combines aerospace-grade 3K carbon fiber with colored aramid (Kevlar®) to deliver a laminate that is both stiff and lightweight, while offering excellent impact, abrasion, and fracture resistance. The classic 2×2 twill weave lays down clean, conforms well over complex curves, and produces a high-end cosmetic finish that’s ideal under a clear coat.

Processing Notes

• Use a compatible resin systems to convert the fabric into a rigid laminate; a water-clear or non-yellowing epoxy is recommended for colored aramid aesthetics.
• Rotate plies (e.g., ±45°, 0/90°) to balance properties in all directions.
• Non-structural skins and covers typically require 1–2 plies; structural parts often combine with additional reinforcements.
• Use sharp shears/rotary cutters: aramid fibers are tough and resist clean cutting.
• Finish with a UV-stable clear coat to protect color vibrancy and cosmetic depth.
