Processing Notes

• Use a compatible resin systems to convert the fabric into a rigid laminate; water-clear, non-yellowing epoxy is recommended for colored aramid clarity and depth.
• Rotate plies (e.g., ±45°, 0/90°) to balance properties in all directions.
• Non-structural skins/covers often require 1–2 plies; structural parts typically combine with additional reinforcements.
• Use sharp shears or a rotary cutter—aramid fibers are tough and resist clean cutting.
• Finish with a UV-stable clear coat to protect color vibrancy and the cosmetic surface.
