Layup Tips

• Rotate successive plies to balance properties in all directions.
• Non-structural skins and covers often use 1–2 plies; structural parts typically combine with additional reinforcements.
• Use sharp shears/rotary cutters; aramid fibers are tough and resist clean cutting.
• Finish with a UV-stable clear coat to preserve color vibrancy and cosmetic depth.

To convert the raw fabric into a rigid laminate, you will need a compatible resin system. For colored aramid hybrids, a water-clear or non-yellowing resin is recommended for best appearance.
