This premium spread tow (flat tow) carbon cloth uses 12K Toray T700 fiber in a crisp 2×2 twill that lies exceptionally flat. By spreading each tow into a thin ribbon before weaving, the fabric minimizes crimp and reduces the tiny “bridges” where excess resin can accumulate. The result is a lighter, smoother laminate with improved fiber-dominated properties and a high-end cosmetic finish—ideal for visible parts that still need real performance.

Why Spread Tow?
