Description

Carbon Fiber Fabric – Quadraxial 0/+45/90/-45 · 50k · 50"/127 cm · 23.59 oz/800 gsm · Zoltek PX35

This heavy-duty quadraxial carbon fabric is built from Zoltek PX35 50k fibers and stitched into four balanced orientations: 0° / +45° / 90° / −45°. The multi-axial, non-crimp architecture keeps fibers straight for high efficiency and predictable properties while rapidly building thickness. At 800 gsm (23.59 oz) and 50" (127 cm) wide, it is ideal as a structural bulk layer when you need stiffness and strength in all directions with fewer plies.

Key benefits

  • True quasi-isotropic reinforcement from four orientations (0/±45/90).
  • Non-crimp stitched construction — straighter fibers, lower resin consumption, excellent wet-out.
  • Rapid laminate build thanks to 800 gsm areal weight and 50k heavy tow fiber.
  • Compatible with epoxy, vinyl ester, and polyester resin systems and common processes (hand layup, vacuum bagging, infusion).

Typical applications

Structural skins and bulk plies for marine and wind structures, tooling back-ups, automotive and motorsport tub reinforcements, UAV/robotics panels, industrial covers, and any project requiring fast build-up with multi-directional stiffness. (For a cosmetic top layer, apply a woven carbon cloth over this structural ply.)

How We Sell

We sell this fabric by the linear yard. You will receive a continuous piece of fabric at the width listed.

For example, if the fabric is 50" wide, a quantity of 1 (linear yard) equals a continuous piece measuring 50" wide × 36" long. A quantity of 5 (linear yards) equals a continuous piece measuring 50" wide × 180" long.
