EnkaFusion® CX-1000 – Flow Medium Spacer for Molded Parts – 2" & 4" Widths
EnkaFusion® CX-1000 creates fast resin channels for vacuum infusion, RTM and VARTM. The product uses a rigid, three-dimensional “V”-shaped nylon core that is encased in a thermally bonded non-woven sock, forming a clean resin runner that distributes resin evenly and helps eliminate dry spots on large or complex parts. It is resilient, conformable and easy to cut, so custom runs and tees can be added quickly on the shop floor.

Typical Uses

Placement / Tips
- Lay CX-1000 on top of peel ply (or release) and beneath the bag film.
- Connect to your resin supply using barbed or T-fittings; secure with small tape tabs or light spray adhesive.
- Terminate runners on peel ply to keep channels clean and ease post-cure removal.
