Hexcel® HexForce® Style 7781 is a workhorse E-glass reinforcement that uses an 8-Harness Satin (8HS) weave for outstanding drape over complex curves and an exceptionally smooth surface. At 8.81oz (≈299 gsm) it provides a great balance of conformability and strength, making it a go-to fabric for high-quality cosmetic skins and structural laminates alike. The F16 silane finish promotes fast, thorough wet-out and durable bonding with common composite resin systems.

Processing notes
- Wets out quickly and transparently; squeegee or use peel-ply to control resin content and minimize print-through.
- Excellent as a final cosmetic ply over heavier fabrics for a smoother paint/clear-coat ready surface.
- Follow your resin manufacturer’s mix ratios and cure schedule. Apply UV-stable paint or clear coat for outdoor exposure.
