Carbon Fiber Fabric Biaxial +45/-45 Degree 12k 5.9oz/200gsm T-700 25in/63.5cm
Description
Carbon Fiber Fabric – Biaxial +45/-45 · 12k · 5.9 oz/200 gsm · 25"/63.5 cm · Toray T700 (NCF)
This fabric is a non-crimp biaxial (NCF) made with Toray T-700 12k carbon. Two straight fiber layers are stitched together at +45°/-45°, delivering excellent in-plane shear and torsional stiffness with minimal crimp and a higher fiber-to-resin ratio than traditional woven cloth. The stitched construction keeps the fibers straight for predictable mechanical performance and makes the fabric easy to wet out by hand layup, vacuum bagging, or resin infusion.
Key benefits
- Balanced ±45° reinforcement for shear, torsion, and impact-resistant laminates.
- Non-crimp architecture — straighter fibers, less print and lower resin demand.
- Easy processing — compatible with epoxy, vinyl ester, and polyester systems.
- Great as a structural ply under a cosmetic woven skin when a Class-A finish is required.
Typical applications
Motorsport and marine panels, UAV/robotics components, skis/boards, bicycle parts, torsion-loaded tubes and spars, and any laminate needing a strong ±45° carbon layer.

How We Sell
We sell this fabric by the linear yard. You will receive a continuous piece of fabric at the width listed.
For example, if the fabric is 50" wide, a quantity of 1 (linear yard) equals a continuous piece measuring 50" wide × 36" long. A quantity of 5 (linear yards) equals a continuous piece measuring 50" wide × 180" long.
