This 625-denier, 2.0 oz (≈68 gsm) fabric uses high-modulus polypropylene (HMPP) fibers that deliver outstanding impact resistance, energy absorption, vibration damping, and buoyancy at a fraction of the weight of traditional reinforcements. The plain-weave construction drapes easily, wets out cleanly, and is ideal as a toughening ply in hybrid laminates with carbon or glass—or as a stand-alone reinforcement where durability and feel matter.

Processing Notes

• Use as an outer ply for a soft white aesthetic, or as an interlaminate toughening layer beneath cosmetic carbon.
• Consolidate thoroughly (vacuum bagging or infusion recommended) to minimize print-through and maximize wet-out.
• Seal UV-exposed laminates with a UV-stable clear coat or paint system.
• When hybridizing, alternate orientations with carbon/glass to balance stiffness and impact performance.
