Our Kevlar Plain Weave 195d 1.7oz/58gsm fabric is an exceptionally lightweight, high-performance aramid reinforcement designed for projects that demand strength, toughness, and minimal added weight. Woven from 195 denier Kevlar yarn in a balanced plain weave, this style delivers a smooth, uniform finish and excellent drape, making it ideal for tight contours and thin, high-performance composite laminates.

Commonly used as a surface ply or light structural layer, this fabric is perfect for UAV and drone structures, R/C components, sporting goods, marine parts, fairings, helmets, audio enclosures, and protective panels where abrasion and tear resistance are critical but overall laminate thickness must remain low.
