System Three SilverTip Epoxy Resin Kit with Hardener – Clear Marine Epoxy for Wood & Fiberglass
The System Three SilverTip Epoxy Resin Kit is a medium–low viscosity, marine-grade epoxy system optimized for coating and fabric reinforcement in wood-composite boat building. It outperforms conventional boat epoxies with superior wet-out, low foaming, and outstanding clarity on wood and fiberglass. This kit includes SilverTip Epoxy Resin (Part A) and your choice of Fast or Slow hardener (Part B).
SilverTip is designed for use with fiberglass, Kevlar®, Dynel, graphite, and bare wood. Both resin and hardener are nearly colorless and mix at a convenient 2:1 ratio by volume. The system produces a tough, resilient film with better heat resistance than most room-temperature epoxies, making it ideal for hull sheathing, clear coating, and structural laminates.

- Slow Hardener: longer open time with higher temperature resistance and improved mechanical properties; usable down to ~35°F with no humidity limitations.
