TeXtreme® 1027 is an ultra-light, High Modulus (HM) 12k spread-tow carbon fabric made with HR40-grade fiber. The flattened tows are placed in a very low-crimp checkerboard that maximizes stiffness at the lowest possible weight and delivers a premium cosmetic surface with minimal print-through.

Design Notes

• HM caution: High modulus carbon has lower allowable strain than HS fiber. For impact-critical areas or tight radii, combine with HS plies and/or toughened core/skins.
• Place the non-bindered face toward the tool for the best clear-coat surface. Gentle heat softens the binder for drape during preforming.
