Duratec® 904-046 Clear Hi-Gloss Topcoat is a high-build, easy-sanding clear polyester coating engineered to produce a premium, high-gloss finish over cured polyester, polyurethane, lacquer, and color coats. Designed for both in-mold applications and topcoating wood, MDF, composite parts, and architectural components, this topcoat provides a smooth, durable, professional-grade finish straight from the mold or after open-air curing.

Application Notes

• Requires MEKP catalyst (not included; sold separately).
• Recommended catalyst addition: 2% by volume (20 cc per quart).
• Use HVLP spray gun for optimal finish—approximately 1 quart covers 15 minutes of spraying.
• Build in multiple coats until 15–20 mils of film thickness is achieved.
• Allow full cure before sanding and buffing for best clarity and gloss.
