Frekote PMC Mold Cleaner

Frekote PMC is a blended solvent cleaner formulated to dissolve and remove wax and mold residues from polyester, epoxy, and metal tools without dulling the surface. It’s ideal for cleaning molds, brushes, and equipment and is highly recommended prior to mold sealing and release application.

Where to Use

• Polyester, epoxy, and metal mold surfaces
• Pre-cleaning before applying mold sealers and release agents
• Cleaning application tools, brushes, and shop equipment

Directions

1. Apply PMC to the mold with a clean, lint-free cloth.
2. As wax and residues dissolve, wipe them away with a second clean cloth while still wet with PMC.
3. Change cloths as they become saturated and repeat until the surface is clean.
4. Allow the mold to dry. The surface is then ready for sealer/release application.

Cleanliness Check
A quick tape test helps confirm cleanliness: masking tape should adhere well to a wax-free surface and release easily from a sealed surface.

Safety & Storage

• Classified as flammable; use only with adequate ventilation and follow regulations.
• Store unopened containers in a dry location away from oxidizers or combustible materials.
• Optimal storage: 8 °C / 46 °F to 21 °C / 70 °F.
• Storage below 8 °C / 46 °F or above 28 °C / 82 °F may adversely affect product properties.
