The TeXtreme® 5021 HS UNI spread-tow carbon fiber tape is a premium unidirectional (UD) reinforcement designed for weight-critical structures that need high axial stiffness and a clean cosmetic surface. Made from carefully spread 12k high-strength (HS) carbon yarn, the tape features low-crimp fibers for superior mechanical efficiency and a smooth face that reduces resin print-through compared with conventional UD tapes. A light epoxy-compatible binder on one side stabilizes the fibers for trimming and lay-up, while a removable plastic liner prevents sticking during handling.
