Description
3M™ Flashbreaker™ Tape – 72 Yard Rolls (1" & 2" widths)
3M™ Flashbreaker™ is a high-temperature, polyester backing tape with a clean-release adhesive designed for composite processing. It’s commonly used to hold down vacuum bagging materials, mask or isolate areas on tools and parts, create a neat “flash”/bleed break at laminate edges, and protect or bundle edges during cure. The tape withstands typical oven and autoclave cycles and releases cleanly from most cured resin systems when removed correctly.

Notes: Maximum temperature is time-at-temperature and process dependent; always qualify for your tooling and resin system. Apply to clean, dry surfaces and remove after the part/tool has cooled to room temperature for the cleanest release. Not intended as a primary vacuum sealant.
