General Purpose Polyester Laminating Resin – DCPD, Low Profile, Low Shrink
Our General Purpose Polyester Resin is a low profile, low shrink, DCPD unsaturated polyester laminating resin designed as an economical, workhorse solution for everyday fiberglass lay-up. This resin is promoted, thixotropic, and formulated to be initiated with MEKP catalyst only (MEKP sold separately – SKU Z-2128). It provides reliable wet-out, consistent cure, and a smooth surface finish with minimal glass print, making it ideal for many general FRP fabrication projects.
This general purpose laminating resin is commonly used in the manufacture of glass fiber reinforced composites such as molded parts, panels, shower and tub components, industrial covers, ducting, and general fiberglass repairs. It is not recommended for parts that will see prolonged exposure to water, such as large marine craft below the waterline.

Usage Notes
