MEKP DDM-9 is a high-quality methyl ethyl ketone peroxide hardener formulated for curing polyester resins and polyester gelcoats. It is the standard catalyst used in marine, automotive and composite fabrication shops to initiate the cure of laminating resins, tooling resins and gelcoat systems.

When measured and mixed correctly, MEKP DDM-9 provides a reliable, controlled cure and consistent mechanical performance in finished parts. One gallon of this catalyst will cure approximately 100 gallons of resin or 50 gallons of gelcoat, making it a cost-effective choice for production environments as well as serious DIY users.

Usage Information

• Designed specifically for polyester resins and polyester gelcoats – not for epoxy systems
• Always follow your resin or gelcoat manufacturer’s recommended MEKP percentage by weight or volume
• Thoroughly mix the catalyst into the resin to ensure even cure and optimum properties

Shelf Life & Storage

• Approximate shelf life: 3 months from purchase under proper storage
• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from heat, sparks and direct sunlight
• Keep containers tightly closed when not in use
